- The songs evoke memories of Jean's teenage years, including an imaginary place called Canada.
- The first song, Canada, was arranged by Bryan Adams.
- The Dub version is inspired by the Jamaican tradition of the 1970s, with the atmosphere of the streets of Tunisia.
- The song "Ode au Cimetière du Borgel" recounts family memories of a cemetery, creating a mystical atmosphere with a twelve-string guitar.
